Product Description:
Distribution manifolds for radiant panel systems are used to optimally distribute the heating fluid in floor heating system circuits and ultimately improve the control of heat emission from the panels. The manifolds ensure that the flow to each circuit is regulated precisely and control the shut-off, venting, and automatic removal of air from the system.
Revit Description:
We built a series of data-rich TwistFlow Assembly Revit families with enhanced functionality features such as the following:
- Various size manifold bodies
- By-Pass and non-By-Pass options
- Standard and inverted options
- Multiple individually selectable connection types and adapters available on the manifold ports
- Multiple individually selectable return port options such as manual knob and various actuators
- Accurately curated Revit BOM for component products included and not included “in box” with the main purchasable product
- Additional mechanical design features to help you efficiently design with this TwistFlow Assembly in your Revit system
- General Design Workflow
- This manifold allows for radiant tubing to connect as an option but is not required.
- You can simply specify the flow and pressure drop for each loop right at the port.
- Flow
- Manifold Flow Status – This tells you if the flow you specified for any of the loops exceeds the maximum allowable for the manifold.
- Recirculation Flow Rate – Specify a flow for recirculation, if desired
- Total Radiant Port Flow – This shows total flow from everything you’ve specified on each port along with the Recirculation Flow Rate
- Manifold Actual Supply Flow – This tells you the total flow on the manifold without Recirculation Flow Rate considered
- Pressure
- Manifold Actual Pressure Drop – This tells you the pressure drop of the manifold and the critical radiant port pressure drop
- Specify pressure drop per loop, if desired
