Please find the letter of reference from our experience in working with ENGworks on the SSM SLUH Hospital project. In January of 2018 Corrigan and ENGworks engaged in a partnership to produce permit set of documents through the design assist process with IMEG engineering and The Lawrence Group Architectural firm. From the permit set of documents ENG assisted Corrigan in coordinating the 10 level 294 patient room hospital. Through that process we have over 200,000 lineal feet of sanitary, vent, storm, cold, hot and hot return domestic water piping with over 75,000 fittings and valves. Our experience with ENGworks was a refreshing experience in working with an outside firm. Ian was very fair and transparent with labor tracking and billing; the BIM modelers were efficient and knowledgeable of the software using Revit and Navisworks. In particular Heather Murphy did an exceptional job making deadlines, accuracy as well as she was very easy to communicate with our general foreman and the others on our BIM team. Ian McGaw kept in contact and communication during the entire process and confirmed ENGworks commitment to the project and our needs during the entire process. Several members from the General Contractor Alberici have noted that the BIM process on this project was one of the most efficient and shortest durations to coordinate such a detailed project in the amount of time it took. We would recommend ENGworks for future projects and we intend to engage with ENGworks in future projects.

We have worked with ENGworks on a number of projects and continue to use their services as we acquire new work. They have performed BIM integration for MEP and structural trades and have done modeling if one of our subcontractors does not have that capability. Their service has been excellent and they are very responsive. They understand deadlines and do what it takes to deliver. I don’t know of any database issues. They are able to translate the various fab software’s used by our subcontractors into a federated model for coordination purposes. They are process oriented which definitely helps to keep things moving forward. Their engineers are very experienced and understand the details of piping and ductwork including fittings, insulation, supports, etc. We are in a relatively small market and we have benefitted from their knowledge and experience in national markets. They have participated in project interviews and we usually list them on org charts in our proposals. Their CEO recently spent the day with us here in Albuquerque (at his own expense) and met all of our folks as well as conducting an informal seminar on current and future technology. I would definitely recommend them.
