Bulley and Andrews Construction
Located at 1755 West Armitage in Chicago, this is the company’s new corporate headquarters: a four-story office building that incorporates several sustainable design features, including daylight harvesting and a green roof. Engworks was able to provide 3D modeling and BIM coordination for this Bulley and Andrews Construction project.
ENGworks took over varied responsibilities like 3D modeling, coordination, clash detection, project management, and project administration. The Design-Assist approach along with using a live Navisworks model for BIM Coordination really helped the project accelerate towards completion with more efficiency. Additionally, ENGworks increased efficiency by adopting multiple weekly meetings with the subcontractors. This was a key breakthrough during periods of inefficiency due to a lack of BIM experience for some of the subcontractors.
