Expected to open in October 2026, Ryan Field at Northwestern University (a Big 10 school located in the northern suburbs of Chicago), is expected to be the most expensive college stadium in the country. The open-air replacement of the existing stadium is forecasted to be operational less than 2 years after beginning construction. Specially designed plumbing criteria to handle the super flush lead to substantially larger systems than would typically be found in residential or commercial facility.
