SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital

The St. Louis University Hospital (SLUH) project comprised of a 316-bed, 802,000 square foot replacement hospital, and a new outpatient care center. The Hospital includes all private patient rooms, larger ICUs, expanded emergency department, educational space for training, and many other amenities.

The key responsibility for ENGworks was to maintain a clear communication channel as there were around 20 stakeholders responsible for different services in every BIM Coordination call. The Design-Assist approach along with using a live Navisworks model for BIM Coordination really helped the project accelerate towards completion with more efficiency. Additionally, ENGworks integrated all the software that the General Contractor Alberici was accustomed to. The integration of those software saved a lot of training time and avoided any loss of time or money due to oversight.
